                20M Moulded Panel Door Specifications

                Masonite makes a variety of 1-3/4" thick interior doors that are available with a 20-minute fire rating. Several of these doors are also available with a fire-rating of 45-, 60-, or 90-minutes in duration. All doors that are fire-rated will have a fire label affixed to the hinge side of the door stating the specific fire rating.

                Door: Paintable moulded wood; smooth primed surface.

                Core: Particle core

                Special Order: 2/0 to 3/6 widths and 7/0 heights

                Fire Rated: A 20 minute fire rated door meets requirements for a 45-minute wall rating.

                • Doors: Fire rated to 20-minutes with a label attached
                • Doors: Fire rated to 45-minutes with a label attached (Cararra and Primed Hardboard only)

                Hardware Consideration: Door stile widths are designed to accomodate standard roses on residential lever locks. Commercial and architectural hardware may require special consideration.

                Fire Rated Frame Options

                When safety standards are a priority, choose fire rated doors and frames. Madero’s interior door product line features the standard 20 minute Warnock Hersey fire rating, with optional 45, 60, and 90 minute ratings available.

                 

                20 Minute Fire Rated Composite Frame

                Our unique composite jamb product offers built-in advantages that are unmatched in the door industry. Maintenance-free product means less work for you and longer life for the entry unit. Composite frames are very strong, with superior screw holding power and a tough exterior finish. Available in both smooth white and textured woodgrain finishes, these frames are designed to coordinate with any colour and style of door.

                • Available in 4-9/16", 6-9/16" pr 8-9/16" jamb depths only
                • Prefinished Smooth White can be painted
                • Textured Woodgrain requires stain or paint

                 

                 

                20 Minute Fire Rated Finger Joint Pine Frame (Primed)

                Primed, kiln-dried fingerjointed pine frames provide beauty and strength with a Warnock Hersey certified 20 minute fire rating. They are suitable for interior or exterior use when painted or stained.

                • Available up to 8-7/8" jamb depth
