Moderne Two Knuckle Hinge

This model offers the most security in a standard hinge. The bearing hinges have a concealed stainless steel oil-impregnated bearing. An anti-friction bushing in the door leaf provides additional protection against vertical and lateral wear.

The oval shaped knuckle is a classic design that has been around for centuries. Recommended for use on doors of average weight with average frequency, such as offices, restaurants, recreational facilities and residences; this high-end hinge is suitable for contemporary and traditional interiors.

Dress up your hinge by adding decorative tips to enhance your design. Available for 2, 3 or 5 knuckle hinges, in flat or round, these tips will give the finishing touches to your decorative suite. Solid brass base metal.

FT - flat tip; for 2 or 3 knuckle hinges

Split Finishing

* GT and LT tips are not available in any D4 finish combination.

Handing of Hinges

All doors are handed – right or left. A simple method of determining the hand of all loose joint hinges is to open the hinge full with the countersunk screw holes in view. If the hinge can be held by the right hand leaf and it does not fall apart, it is a right hand (RH) hinge. If the hinge must be held by the left hand leaf to keep it from falling apart, it is a left hand (LH) hinge.

By design, pins are non-rising, non-removable and tamper-protected by a flush, non-removable cap at the end of the barrel. A door can not be removed when in the closed position, thus affording maximum security. Intermediate hinges can be ordered opposite hand and installed upside down, to inhibit removal of the door in an open position.
