Smooth White Fiberglass Slab:  Steel-reinforced hardwood construction, polymer stiles and rails with impact-resistant fiberglass GRP (glass reinforced polyester) skin.

Premium Composite Jamb:  Resilient fiber/resin compound material with high strength-to-weight ratio. Has twice the screw-holding power of wood.

Slab Sizes:  Available in 6/8, 7/0, and 8/0 heights (select designs); standard widths are 2/6, 2/8, 2/10, and 3/0.  1-3/4" thickness only.

Rough Opening Sizes:  For 6/8 height, inswing only.

Energy Efficient:  100% CFC free polyurethane-filled door with nine times the thermal efficiency of wood; assembled with a custom-fitted jamb that features a moisture tight seal for prevention of heat loss.
 

Features of Smooth White Fiberglass Slab

A. Deep Panel Embossing: Deep embossed panels create beautiful shadow lines and the look of a real wood door.

B. Waterproof Composite Stiles: Easy to machine, with stronger screw holding capability. Better performance than wood stiles -- will not delaminate, warp, rot or splinter. Sealed edges and corners; no exposed wood.

C. Fiberglass Reinforced Door Skin:  Made of high compression-moulded fiberglass to provide superior protection and durability. Fiberglass skins won't dent or delaminate like steel; smooth white surface is easy to clean and will not yellow.

D. Waterproof Composite Top & Bottom Rails: No exposed wood; will not absorb moisture and will not rot.

E. Internal Wood Lock Block:  Full length wood and steel reinforcing to prevent thermal and moisture bow. Accepts a full range of door locks and hardware, including multi-point.

Warranty:  25 year limited warranty. Painting not required for warranty.

Flush Glazed Option:  "Flush Glazed" or "Open and Beaded" refers to how a piece of glass is set into a door slab. A flush glazed finish creates a clean, uninterrupted look. The bead is premoulded and blends with the door slab surface for a smooth, seamless line. The flush glazing keeps the glass unit water and weather resistant for years to come. A removable stop allows the glass to be easily installed or replaced if needed. Please note the following:

• Standard full-lite open & beaded design (FC12) accepts all standard glass inserts.
• Optional full view open & beaded design offers 32% larger viewing area – clear glass only.
• Narrow-lite open & beaded design (FC11) accepts standard 690 glass (8" x 64").
